In a new article, renowned luxury publication Departures highlights Gardenhouse residences and the development’s record-setting, sustainably designed, 6,700-square-foot living wall. The largest of its kind in North America, the wall was crafted by landscape architect Scott Hutcheon in partnership with LA-based architecture firm Gruen Associates. In addition to the wall, Ma Yansong and MAD Architects’ thoughtful fusion of nature and urban living also garners focus:

The homes feature open-concept floor plans with soaring window walls and private outdoor living areas. Plus, all the residences encircle an open-air atrium filled with greenery.

The piece goes on to detail the residences’s elegant interiors, including “gourmet kitchens with Miele appliances, stone countertops, and Snaidero cabinets,” as well as primary suites with “TOTO fixtures, free-standing Kohler tubs, marble countertops, heated floors, and Japanese-style onsen wet rooms.”
